The arrows is rotating clockwise. First it turns 90°, then it turns 45°, then again 90°, and so on. The circle is also moving clockwise but along the boundary of the square, half the edge.

First a C is added. Then the pattern flips horizontally. Then another C is added. Please note that an inverted C has been added at the corner of the existing C. After that the pattern flips horizontally. So, in the answer figure one more C has to be added to the pattern.

The black dot is rotating anticlockwise by ¹/₂, 1, 1¹/₂, 2 places. The white circle is rotating anti-clockwise by 1, 2, 3, 4 places.

On each step the entire image is rotating by 90° in anti-clockwise direction. In one step the left area is shaded, whereas in the other the right area is shaded. So in the answer the image will look like a glass of wine with the shaded portion appearing on the right.
