[SBI PO 2016 Mains]There are two parallel rows of six seats each. A, B, C, D and E are sitting in row-1 facing South. P, Q, R, S and T are facing North. One seat is vacant in each row. Each likes a different color i.e. Red, Green, Pink, Blue, Purple, White, Black, Grey, Violet and Yellow.

  1. S sits third to the right of R and likes Blue color. Only two people sit between Q and the vacant seat.
  2. Q does not like Purple or Pink color.
  3. E is not an immediate neighbor of C. B likes yellow color.
  4. The one who likes Pink faces the one who likes Grey color.
  5. The one who likes Pink sits opposite to the one who sits third right
    of the person who sits opposite to S.
  6. C is not an immediate neighbor of D.
  7. T, who likes neither Purple nor White color, does not face the vacant seat.
  8. Neither S nor R sits at any of the extreme ends. D faces R.
  9. Vacant seats are not opposite to each other.
  10. Two persons sit between C and B, who sits third right of the
    one who likes Black color.
  11. The one who likes Violet color faces the one who likes Blue color.
  12. The persons who like the Red and Grey colors are adjacent to each other.
  13. Vacant seat of row - 1 is not an immediate neighbor of D.
  14. Q sits at one of the extreme ends. R does not like Red and Grey color.
  15. Vacant seat of row-1 does not face S who doesn't sit at any of the extreme ends.

Seven friends A, B, C, D, E, F and G are sitting around a table facing either the center or outside. Each one belongs to a different department: Finance, Marketing, Sales, HR, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking and Operations. C sits third to the right of G. G faces the center. Only one person sits between C and the person working in the HR department. Immediate neighbors of C face outside. Only one person sits between F and D, both of whom face the center. D doesn't work in the HR department. A works in the Investment Banking department, and faces towards the center. Two persons sit between the persons working in Investment Banking and Marketing departments. The person who works in Corporate Finance department sits to the immediate left of E. C faces the same direction as E. The person who works in Corporate Finance sits to the immediate right of the person who works in Finance. G works in Operations. What is the arrangement?

A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a circle facing the centre but not necessarily in the same order. B sits second to the left of H's husband. No female is an immediate neighbor of B. D's daughter sits second to the right of F. F is the sister of G. F is not an immediate neighbor of H's husband. Only one person sits between A and F. A is the father of G. H's brother D sits to the immediate left of H's mother. Only one person sits between H's mother and E. Only one person sits between H and G. G is the mother of C. G is not an immediate neighbor of E. Eight people E, F, G, H, J, K, L and M are sitting around a circular table facing the centre. Each of them is of a different profession Chartered Accountant, Columnist, Doctor, Engineer, Financial Analyst, Lawyer, Professor and Scientist but not necessarily in the same order. F is sitting second to the left of K. The Scientist is an immediate neighbor of K. There are only three people between the Scientist and E. Only one person sits between the Engineer and E. The Columnist is to the immediate right of the Engineer. M is second to the right of K. H is the Scientist. G and J are immediate neighbors of each other. Neither G nor J is an Engineer. The Financial Analyst is to the immediate left of F. The Lawyer is second to the right of the Columnist. The Professor is an immediate neighbor of the Engineer. G is second to the right of the Chartered Accountant. What is the arrangement?

A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a square table in such a way that four of them sit at four corners of the square while four sit in the middle of each of the four sides. The ones who sit at four corners face the centre of the table while those who sit in the middle of the sides are facing outside outside. Each of them likes a different subject: Hindi, Maths, English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, History and Geography.

C sits third to the left of the one who likes Geography. The one who likes Geography faces outside. Only two persons sit between C and H. The one who likes Maths sits on the immediate right of H. The one who likes Chemistry sits second to the right of G. G is neither an immediate neighbor of H nor of C. G does not like Geography. Only one person sits between A and the one who likes Chemistry. D sits on the immediate left of the one who likes Physics. G does not like Physics. E likes History. E is not an immediate neighbor of A. The one who likes Hindi is an immediate neighbor of E. Seven friends, namely L, M, N, O, P, Q and R. like different animated movies, namely Finding Nemo, Rio, Frozen, Up, Lion King, Shrek and Cars, but not necessarily in the same order. Each friend also has a presentation on topics of different subjects, namely Civics, History, English, Geography, Chemistry, Physics and Biology but not necessarily in the same order. Q has a presentation on Civics and likes neither Frozen nor Up. The one who likes Finding Nemo has a presentation on History. L likes Rio and has a presentation neither on Geography nor on Chemistry. Each friend also has a different favorite subject namely History, Civics, English, Marathi, Hindi, Maths and Economics but not necessarily in the same order. A likes Maths and studies in 5th standard with only one other friends who likes Marathi. I studies with two other friends. Both the friends who study with I like language (here languages include only Hindi, Marathi and English).D studies in 6th standard with only one person and does not like Civics. E studies with only one friend. The one who likes history does not study in 5th or 6th standard. E does not like languages. C does not like English, Hindi or Civics. What is the arrangement?

An organization decided to distribute seven types of laptops on week days starting from Monday to Sunday. The seven laptops to be distributed are of Sony, Acer, Asus, Lenovo, Dell, HP and HCL but not necessarily in the same order. Dell laptops to be given on Saturday, Lenovo laptops are given just after Asus laptops and Asus laptops are not given on Wednesday. HP laptops are given two days after the distribution of Asus laptop. Acer laptops are distributed just after Sony laptop. HCL laptops are distributed after Acer laptops. HP laptops are distributed after Dell laptops. What is the arrangement?

Seven lectures are scheduled to be held in a week. There is only one lecture on each of the seven days of the week, starting from Monday and ending on Sunday. Chemistry is taught either on Wednesday or on Saturday. Three lectures are scheduled to be held between Chemistry and English. Two lectures are scheduled to be held between English and Computers. Lecture on Physics is scheduled on the day which is immediately next to the day when lecture on Biology is scheduled. Lecture on Psychology is scheduled to be held after Mathematics (not necessarily immediately after Mathematics). Lecture on Psychology is not scheduled for Saturday or Sunday. What is the arrangement?

Six plays are to be organized from Monday to Sunday with one play each day except for one day when there is no play. 'No play' day is not Monday or Sunday. The plays are held in sets of 3 plays each in such a way that 3 plays are held without any break, i.e. 3 plays are held in such a way that there is no 'No play' day between them but immediately before this set or immediately after this set it is 'No play' day. Play Z was held on 26th and play X was held on 31st of the same month. Play B was not held immediately after play A (but was held after A, not necessarily immediately) and play M was held immediately before Q. All the six plays were held in the same month.

Each of them have a favorite subject from physics, geography, English, Marathi, mathematics, chemistry, biology and economics but not necessarily in the same order. D likes chemistry and studies in standard VIII with only H. B does not study in standard VII. E and A study in the same standard but not with B. C and F study in the same standard. Those who study in standard VI do not like mathematics or biology. F likes physics. The one who studies in standard VIII likes English. C does not like Geography. A's favorite subject is Marathi and G does not like Biology.

Eight people namely A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting in a straight line from East to West. Some are facing North direction and some are facing South direction.

H sits to the third left of C and faces South. F is sitting at the one end of the extreme ends and is facing North. B and G are facing in same direction and person sitting between them is facing opposite direction. A is sitting third from left end and is facing South direction.
