Image Series Quiz Set 013

This is the pattern:

1. The vertical arrow doesn't move.
2. The diagonal arrow moves 45° clockwise.
3. The horizontal arrow moves 90° clockwise.

The above square is repeating itself.

In each step one stick is being added. This is how:

1. An I is added in second figure.
2. In the third figure the I is changed to T so that one stick gets added.
3. In the third figure one stick is taken from A to make it V, and two sticks are added to T to make it E. This leads to a net addition of one stick.
4. In the answer, one stick is taken from to get an F and two sticks are added to V to make it M.

Top left and bottom right icons interchange. The horizontal arrow changes direction. Then top right and bottom left interchange and this time the vertical arrow changes direction. In the fourth box the pattern starts with four new icons.

On each step the stick towards the center of square moves towards the edge of the square, and the stick in the middle moves towards the center of square. So in the answer, the smallest stick would be towards the edge of the square and medium size stick would be towards the center of the square.

One of the icons turns upside down on each step and stays the same in subsequent steps.
