It is raining heavily for the past few days. Two persons have died, and normal life is paralyzed. But seen from another angle, it will help in solving the problem of acute water shortage, and provide relief from summers.

1. The state government should swing into action to help the people lead normal life and should provide necessary relief.
2. The state government should immediately remove all the restrictions on washing of cars and lawns and on the use of potable water in all the major cities in the state.

Syllabi of the various courses in India rarely keep in tune with the current industrial trends and requirements. There is a gap of about five years. Curricula are revised from time to time, but the textbooks teach only the obsolete.

1. During the last semester, experts from the industry should be asked to take classes in our colleges.
2. During the last semester, students should be asked to visit the industry and learn whatever they can, on their own, and as per their interests.
